Development of a system for the prevention and response to marine and air pollution by Hazardous Noxious Substances
To achieve the SICMA goals, the project is divided within six workpackages:
- Workpackage 1: Definition of the final product and basic development
- Workpackage 2: Laboratory tests to analyse the physicochemical behaviour of pollutants
- Workpackage 3: Development of algorithms for the operational prediction of HNS spills
- Workpackage 4: Development of methodological procedures to assess risk and enhance safety
- Workpackage 5: Development of interfaces
- Workpackage 6: System validation
